Sweet Potato Leaves (HK Organic)
Sweet potato leaves, also known as yam leaves, are widely cooked in Asia as stir-fries or in curry. They are rich in vitamin B, carotene, iron, calcium, zinc, protein and has a higher moisture content than any other leafy vegetables. The leaves contain antioxidants, and helps relieve hypertension and inflammation.
- Stir-fry with garlic and ginger, add chili if you like spicy food. Cook in coconut milk or curry if you prefer a smoother and softer texture.
- Available between April to September.
- Please consume within 3 - 4 days and store in fridge.
- Harvest on the day of delivery.
