Snow fungus (also known as Silver Ear/White Wood Ear in some areas in China; shiro kikurage in Japanese) is pale / yellowish, sometimes translucent with a 'bouncy' texture. Same as black fungus, it is found in Asia and Pacific islands with humid climates. Commonly used in Chinese savoury and sweet soups. It is known for its ability to nourish skin and body, relief dryness and clear heatiness.
