Established in 1955, Wah Kee Farm is located in Kai Kung Leng, Pat Heung, Hong Kong. It covers an area of 140,000 square meters. Situated at the hillside of Kai Kung Leng, Its geological advantangeous provides a very suitable environment for pig breeding and raising, where the landscape allows a continuous exchange of fresh air, and provides natural run off waters from the mountain. Wah Kee Farm is the only farm in Hong Kong that has been certified with ISO 9001 in production management. All stages from breeding, raising and to retail sales are subject to rigorous monitoring, and with traceable records. At Wah Kee Farm, feeds are mixed with all natural grains imported from the US and UK. The mixing and feeding process is closely monitored by professional feeding technician. The feeds are mainly the mix of corn, wheat bran, soybean meal, a variety of amino acids, minerals, vitamins and Chinese medicines with zero usage of hormones, antibiotics, and any other chemical catalysts. Since 1996, Wah Kee Farm has imported a variety of purebred pigs from Bath, UK to begin its 20 years breeding and selection processes. The current pedigreed is at the 8th generation.
