Dragon fruit, also called pitaya, is a fruit that looks like a dragon egg on fire. The fruit is in oval shape and red/yellow color. It tastes mildly sweet and has a soft and tender texture. It contains vitamin B, vitamin C, carotene, protein and antioxidant. It is also a source of minerals such as calcium, iron and phosphorous.
- Simply enjoy it raw or mix it with salad. It can be pan-fried with shrimps.
