New Territories dried white cabbage, carrots, dried duck gizzards, Smallanthus sonchifolius
Benefit: Removes heatiness and nourishes lungs, relieves cough and reduces phlegm, detox, strengthens spleen and relieves stagnancy, hypolipidemic and lowers cholesterol
Instruction: Wash all ingredients, soak dried duck gizzard in warm water for 1 hour, put all ingredients in the pot, add 12 bowls of water,
for soup with meat (briefly blanch meat in boiling water for a minute to remove the odd taste, blood water and impurities.), add 4 pieces of candied date and 2 pieces of dried citrus peel, cook for 2.5 hours;
for soup without meat, cook for 2 hours and add some crystal sugar.
Servings: 5-7 bowls of soup
