Ingredients: Chayote, fresh lily bulb, fresh lotus seeds, Lodoicea maldivica
Benefit: Eliminates wind and removes heatiness, strengthens the spleen, nourishes yin and skin, good for the brain and kidney, vitality
Instruction: Wash all ingredients and put in the pot, add 12 bowls of water,
for soup with meat(briefly blanch meat in boiling water for a min to remove the odd taste, blood water and impurities.), add 4 pieces of candied date and 2 pieces of dried citrus peel and cook for 2.5 hours ;
for soup without meat, cook for 2 hours and add some crystal sugar.
(Tips: If you like to eat lily bulb, put in the soup 15 mins before done.)
Servings: 5-7 bowls of soup
