Dayday Soup - Carrot & Green Turnip (D) (HK) - CHILLED
Ingredients: carrots, green radish, yam, burdock, chestnuts, sweet/bitter apricot kernels
Benefit: Strengthens spleen, helps digestion, moisturizes dryness, improves eyesight, reduces phlegm, nourishes the lung and relieve cough, removes heatness and detox
Instruction: Wash all ingredients and put in the pot, add 12 bowls of water,
for soup with meat (briefly blanch meat in boiling water for a min to remove the odd taste, blood water and impurities.), add 4 pieces of candied date and 2 pieces of dried citrus peel, cook for 2.5 hours;
for soup without meat, cook for 2 hours and add some crystal sugar.
(Tips: Burdock with skin has higher nutritional value)
Servings: 5-7 bowls of soup
