Asiago is made with whole milk is matured for a month and sold fresh as a softer, milder cheese and can be used for melting, slicing on a variety of salads, sandwiches, soups, pastas, and sauces.
This semi-sweet cheese from Veneto is delicious combined with a valpolicella wine, that has an attractive taste, with notes of ripe red fruit, dominated by cherries and spice. There may be slight variation of +/-10% in product weight as it is prepared and cut by hand.
