Sweet Spicy Beer Chicken Wings

Make this dish for the man of the house with their favorite wings and their favorite beverages. These sweet-spicy BBQ chicken wings enhanced with beer are finger-lickingly good!

  • ⅓ cup Cornstarch
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Honey
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Rice vinegar

  • 2 ½ lbs Chicken Wings & Drumsticks
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • ⅔ cup Beer
  • ½ tsp Smoked Paprika
  • ¼ tsp Red Chili Flakes


Cooking Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the chicken wings in cold water and pat dry. And rub to coat the chicken wings and drumsticks with cornstarch.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the beer, soy sauce, honey, paprika, garlic, red chili flake, black pepper, salt, and vinegar. Add the chicken and marinate for 20-30 mins.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and arrange on the baking sheet and bake for 10 mins.
  5. Meanwhile, in a pot, heat the remaining marinade over medium high heat until thickened and syrupy, around 8-10 mins. Stir occasionally.
  6. When the marinade is done, remove the chicken from oven and brush with the sauce on both sides.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10. Then brush with the sauce again.
  8. Repeat step 7 until cooked through, about 15-20 mins.
